Palm fronds dancing on the breeze amidst the cerulean blue skies
Enthusiastic seven year old hands playing “America the Beautiful” on her recorder
Peaceful, sleeping almost three year old sunshine girl
Joy-filled smile of my mama as she laughs with her grandbabies
The ease and contentment of BEing with the people I love the most
Today, these are my 5 Most Beautiful Things.
What are yours?
I’m feeling inspired by local LA yogi, writer, host of Manifestation Retreats and creator of The 5 Most Beautiful Things Project (check it out here!), Jen Pastiloff, who wisely reminds us to…
“Become an Active Beauty Seeker.”
When you’re feeling happy and full of love and floating on cloud nine, ask yourself:
what is beautiful in this moment?
When you’re feeling challenged and devastated and in the depths of the darkness, ask yourself:
what is beautiful in this moment?
Imagine a new way of seeing the world.
Perceive LIFE through new eyes.
Contemplate these questions Jen so sagely offers:
“What if we walked around looking for beauty instead of looking for things to be stressed about or offended by?
What if we told more beautiful stories?”
When we choose to focus on the beauty we choose to Live Happy.
Practice. Observe. Notice.
Allow yourself to see the beauty that surrounds you…and feel the ease of focusing on the good.
Peace, Love & All the Beautiful Things,
Denise 🙂
p.s. If you want to be part of The 5 Most Beautiful Things Project, connect here…you may even want to enter Jen’s contest to win a spot in her Ojai Manifestation Retreat! How rad would that be? Talk about BEAUTIFUL!
p.p.s. Thank you as always for being on this journey to Live Happy with me! Please share these words if you know anyone who’d appreciate the encouragement! 🙂
