We are in this together.

And we can all do something. (Even if that’s as simple as cuddling up with the ones we love…our kitty, Mimi, reminds us of this every day.)

It’s so beautiful how much profound gratitude we can cultivate during times like these…especially for the simple things.

In the midst of the stress and worry and fear and overwhelm, we can also find space for stillness and calm and trust and appreciation.

When the world feels like it’s in chaos, there is a quiet place within ourselves where we can go for refuge, for comfort, for love.

And from this sacred space, we can cultivate the energy we want to feel and share.

I’m feeling so grateful for…

the sunlight shining through my windows at dawn.

the dancing of the fresh leaves on the trees.

the warmth of a blanket.

the gift of a cup of tea.

the sound of my daughters’ voices.

the blessing of a safe home.

the nourishment of fresh food to eat.

the luxury of a hot shower.

the health of my body.

the peace I create in my mind.

the love I feel.

I’m also grateful for the optimistic, inspiring, hopeful, helpful words and resources shared by so many.

Here are a few of my faves:

  1. Inspiring ideas of ways to be generous and give what you can (that may not cost anything)
  2. A virtual space to connect with elders to receive their wisdom (this is beautiful…grateful to Alex Franzen for sharing this!)
  3. Online donation based yoga classes (with amazing Long Beach teachers)
  4. This. These words remind me how much beauty we can potentially see and create, even in the chaos.

Remember, friends, to look for the helpers, to be a helper when you can, and to focus your thoughts on optimism and possibility.

Imagine this as a sacred time for renewal, reset and reconnection.

Wouldn’t it be nice if these times inspire us all to prioritize self loving care?

Wouldn’t it be nice if these times lead to a positive shift for the way we care for our environment?

Wouldn’t it be nice if these times transform the way we live, allowing us to open doors to more harmony, more peace, more connection?

Wouldn’t it be nice if these times remind us to go gently, to slow down, to savor the now?

Remember to give yourself grace. Be gentle. Practice kindness. Find ways to love you and love where you are, right here and now.

Big hugs across the ethers to you…

Love & Peace,

Denise
