Greetings Beautiful,
Hoping this gorgeous July day is full of freedom & fun for YOU!
For those of us living in Canada & the U.S., this is a time to honor and give thanks for our freedom…and I’m definitely doin’ my part to enJOY the opportunity to celebrate!
As my family and I cruised across the great state of California to relax and connect with nature here in Angels Camp, I felt especially grateful…for our freedom to move with ease and comfort, for this amazing life, for being born in a place and time where we can be whomever we choose to be, love whomever we choose to love, and live however we choose to live.
What a beautiful blessing to live FREE.
And at the same time, I wonder, are we really free just because we are privileged to live in a free country?
Have we not, at times, created our own limits and boundaries in our thoughts and in the stories we tell about our lives?
Can we create more room for freedom in the way we think and envision the world?
I ask this because I wonder if I may have unknowingly restricted my own life experience in the past.
Voltaire totally had it right:
Man is free at the moment he wishes to be.
How much have we limited the possibility of what could be by focusing too much on what was and what is?
How can we allow our lives to expand into possibility if we are only focusing on the reality we see here and now?
I know there are many who may call it idealistic or unrealistic to thrive in possibility, but isn’t this the path of the dreamer?
I am reminded of John Lennon’s timeless words:
“You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one.
I hope some day you’ll join us. And the world will live as one.”
What if we all choose to free ourselves from the constraints of a limited perspective?
What if we let go of the way things were and instead focus upon the way things could be?
What if we choose freedom in our thoughts and hearts and lives?
We can choose thoughts that doubt and criticize ourselves and compel us to live within the constraints of a limited story… OR …
We can free ourselves to thrive in infinite possibility and pure potentiality to reveal all of who we are and share our greatest gifts with the world.
Take action…
Consider how you may expand your own life story, consciously choose your thoughts, and invite possibility into your experience to free yourself ever more.
