If you’re happy, if you’re feeling good, then nothing else matters.”

~Robin Wright

Hello Fellow Joy Seeker,

Hoping this Halloween finds you feeling free and ready for fun!

I’m feeling so grateful and excited to share another day of celebration with my two amazing daughters…just to be present for the joyful moments with them means everything to me.

And, the better I feel, the more present I can be. The more I am able to enJOY my time with the precious people in my life.

In the spirit of celebration and feeling good, today I’m sharing five of my favorite daily practices that keep me feeling healthy, happy, and whole.

Here ya go:

1. Give Thanks

When you awaken to another day, when you rest your head at night, and every moment in between, give thanks. Your body and your mind will benefit…and so will every creature around you.

2. Scrape Your Tongue

Yes, brush your teeth and definitely floss, too…and if you want to feel really fresh, then start scraping your tongue every time you brush. Believe me, it changes everything. You’ll never want to go back. Your mouth and bod will definitely feel healthier.

3. Drink water

For real, drink water. All the time. Take it with you. Carry a stainless steel bottle full of this life affirming tonic. Drink half your weight in ounces every single day. It’s the best kept secret to living healthy…and happy, too.

4. Hug

Give hugs to everyone you can. At least twelve a day they say, for good health. Break down those walls of protection and separation. Open your heart, let the love in. Share yours. Embrace the people you love and show them. Every day. All the time. Hug.

5. Breathe

Consciously, naturally, deeply, wholeheartedly. Feel the breath of life moving through you. Attend to your breath. Notice it. Deepen it. Soften into it. Allow your breath to comfort you, calm you, remind you that you are abundant and alive. Just breathe.

So, what do ya think? Are these part of your daily practice?

And, are there any essential practices in your life that you can share with us?

Tell us in the comments what feel good practices inspire you…and then go on out and have some fun!

Hugs and Happy Halloween,

Denise
