Today, I give thanks.
I record my gratitude and appreciation for every little thought, experience, interaction, dream, hope, challenge, and feeling in my life.
Today is day #134 of this experiment.
I feel transformed.
I now see my life experience through the rose colored lenses of appreciation.
I now see that my greatest gift is in my ability to respond to difficulty with clarity, patience, and tenderness.
I now see that every day I can learn to grow my gratitude ever more.
Today I give thanks for:
The smooth easy breath in my lungs.
The gentle way the wind sways the tree branches at the park.
The courage and tenacity of my daughter practicing skateboarding…and being the only girl in the class.
The delight and joyful exclamations of children running to play.
The open and vibrant sensation in my spine and body and mind after practicing yoga.
The brilliance and wisdom of my many teachers.
My most inspiring teachers, Juliana and Isabela, ages 7 and 2.
Dreams, hopes, aspirations and desires that continually propel me toward greatness.
Presence in my body and in this moment that reveal to me that I am already great.
Being daughter to a compassionate nurturing kind loving giving mommy who is the best grandma ever.
Feeling the support of my community of family and friends.
Knowing that I love.
Knowing that I am loved.
Embracing the truth: Imperfect IS lovable.
Transforming challenge, frustration and discomfort into revelation, wisdom and opportunity for growth…
…one breath at a time.
Growing, learning, living, loving.
BEing ME.
